The Pioneer Woman was awarded the Weblog of the Year award in 2009, 2010 and 2011, The Pioneer Woman was awarded the Weblog of the Year award during the Annual Weblog Awards. Growing up in Bartlesville Oklahoma she studied journalism and gerontology in college.
