Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy American actor. Famous for her critically acclaimed performances of charming, naive people. Adams was raised in Italy and her father was as a soldier in the U.S. military and she grew up in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. Then, in the latter part of 1990s, she started to act and dance professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she performed at a regional theater, where her character was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on beauty magazines. After her screen debut that was successful, in which she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocated to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh began her filming career following the signing of an MGM contract in the late 1940s. She was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. She appeared in a range of popular films during the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
